Description
frau Zeppelin & Adolf Fischer – ultra rare Hindenburg 1937 signed FF8 cover with COA
Add an exceptionally scarce piece of Zeppelin memorabilia to your collection with this FF8 cover commemorating the Hindenburg in 1937, signed by Frau Zeppelin and Adolf Fischer.
The cover is numbered 7 of only 10 examples signed by Frau Zeppelin, giving it particular appeal to collectors of Zeppelin, Hindenburg and historic aviation memorabilia.
Adolf Fischer was a crew member aboard the Hindenburg and survived the famous 1937 disaster at Lakehurst, providing this signed cover with a direct connection to one of the defining events in airship history.
Achievements
The LZ 129 Hindenburg became one of the most famous rigid airships ever constructed. Its destruction at Lakehurst, New Jersey, on 6 May 1937 became a defining moment in aviation history and effectively marked the end of the great passenger airship era.
The combination of the Frau Zeppelin signature, the association with Hindenburg crew member Adolf Fischer and the extremely limited run of only 10 signed examples makes this an unusual piece for a specialist aviation collection.
Please note that the cover has a small stain at the upper right-hand side. This has been taken into consideration when pricing the item.
Add this exceptionally scarce, individually numbered Hindenburg signed cover to your collection and preserve a fascinating piece of Zeppelin and aviation history.
