William O’Connell (1929–2024) had a prolific career in film and television, appearing in The Twilight Zone, Rawhide, The Outer Limits, and The Lieutenant, a series by Gene Roddenberry. He was a frequent collaborator with Clint Eastwood, appearing in High Plains Drifter, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Every Which Way But Loose, and Any Which Way You Can. O’Connell also starred in Big Bad Mama alongside William Shatner. His final screen appearance was in The Haunted (1991), and he passed away at age 94 in Sherman Oaks, California.
